Little Blue Bunny

ahhh be still my heart...................I just want to squeeze this little bunny! In my eyes he's just the sweetest thing :) He was inspired by a little rabbit called Spangle. I drew him with a pencil first and then scanned the drawing in. I think I'm going to put him on a card- maybe another customised one? And I'll design a girly version also. I hope you like him too!
The suns been shining all day today so I think I'll go sit outside for a bit and soak up the last remaining rays of the day :)

Look who I found!

Look where I found little Oliver today! What a cheeky chap he is! :)

This little card is available to buy in my shop.

I joined Twitter today- is anyone else on there? I was a bit worried about joining, simply because I thought it would be really addictive and therefore rather time consuming- I already have way too many internet distractions that stop me from doing my work! But although it is great fun you have to keep your comments short so it's quick and easy to update. Perhaps I'll see you there! :)

Bye, bye for now!

It's so nice to be back!

HelloIt's so good to be back! I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while- I had lots to post about last week but every time I sat down to write a post I got an urgent email/phone call/brief etc. I'm thinking that I may try and post in the mornings from now on- that way my blog won't get pushed further down the To-Do-List as the day goes on. I hope everyone had lovely weekends?

I have a few things to share with you today. Firstly I have added two original paintings to the shop, the one below you have already seen below which is called "Shout". Click here for more info.

The second one (below) was last weeks Found Art painting and I've called it "Horses ♥ Apples". This one is a teeny, tiny painting measuring only 3"x3"! Click here for more info.

And thirdly I was going to put one listing in my shop for all my customized cards at a set price. However after a few enquiries I have realised that this doesn't really work as some people want very simple changes and some people want elements re-designed. It is extremely important to me that my customers receive value for money so I've decided that I will only list cards that I have already made custom changes to and therefore already know the work involved to make the changes. The card below has now been listed in my shop at a set price and if anyone would like one made for them all you need to do is convo. me the name and age of the little person you want to send it to. You can do this either by sending me a message when you buy the card as there is an option to leave a message for the seller or please contact me via Etsy, my blog or by email- whatever you would prefer :)
If anyone would like different card customizing please don't hesitate to contact me and let me know what you would like and then I can let you know a price according to the work involved.

I'll be back tomorrow- I promise! :)

Little Chiff Chaffs

Hello! I've got a new art print to show you and for those living in America two Mothers Day cards also :) I had no idea that Mother's day in America falls on an entirely different date! I hope you like them and if you want to see photos of what they look like handmade take a look in my shop. I think these would make lovely Birthday cards as well, so when I get the chance I'll pop them in my shop as Birthday cards also.

Hope the sun's been shining for everyone! My bunnies have been outside sunning themselves over the last few days as we've had the most glorious weather :) I've had to be sooooo disciplined with my work this week as I've been incredibly tempted to just throw caution to the wind and sit in the garden all day!

Shout!

The title for this weeks Found Art project was "Shout". This was a real challenge for me because I just couldn't think of an image to paint in my normal style. So I decided to try and paint what it feels like to have anger welling up inside you- knowing that any second you are are going to see red and start shouting! Ha, ha- not exactly a cheery post for a Friday is it? I did enjoy the challenge though, I always love being pulled out of my comfort zone to see what I come up with!
Anyway I hope you all have lovely weekends (with no shouting involved- unless of course it's of the good kind) :)

Custom Cards

Ok, hands up who ate too much chocolate over Easter? (My left hand is raised whilst I'm writing this!) I seem to loose all will power when it comes to chocolate- if it's in the house it gets eaten- pretty much immediately! :) I think next week though will have to be a healthy week to try and counteract my naughtiness! :(

I have a couple of things to share with you today. The lovely Mel asked me recently whether or not I do custom cards and the answer is I do. So if there is a particular card you like but you want to make it extra special I am more than happy to add a name/age/occasion to it etc. I've shown an example above of a card I have customized for someone.

The second thing I wanted to share with you is that I'm participating in DaWanda's Spring Special. So from the 19th-26th April there will be an 11% discount on all products in my shop!

Bye, bye for now and have a good evening :)

It's The Little Things

Everyday I try to notice the little things, as I find it's the little things in life that really make me happy. Sometimes I'm so busy I forget to look but on long, lazy weekends like this I find so many reasons to smile. Here are some of the things that made me happy this weekend- I hope you all had lovely weekends too? What made you smile?

So now onto the winner! Louis was given the honors and he picked............................Oakleaf Hollow Primitives. Congratulations!!! Your new art print will be on it's way to you very soon :)

I hope everyone has a lovely Bank Holiday weekend- for all of us in the UK lets hope for once it doesn't rain ;) Is it just me? Because I always seem to remember lovely weather leading up to the Bank Holiday and then sure enough the Easter weekend arrives and........so does the rain! Anyway fingers crossed for some glorious weather!
I'm hoping to be able to post over the weekend, but if I don't get a chance to "have fun everyone!"

Where's Rabbit?

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend? The sun was shining here, which made me and the bunnies very happy indeed! We also had friends visiting from Sheffield, which made me smile even more :D

Today I have a new card to show you- some of you may recognise it, as it is already available as a print, but I thought it would make a sweet card also. It is available to buy at my Etsy or DaWanda shop. This card is part of range I have designed called "Where's Rabbit?" and was inspired by a little brown rabbit called Oliver (aka Mr.O) who loved eating banana and playing hide and seek with me!

Bye, bye for now :)

Found Art Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I participated a few weeks ago in Cathy's "Found Art" project- click here and then here for more info. Cathy is an amazing artist and someone I really admire so I was delighted to join in her project. Below is my "Found Art" project of the week. It started off as a very simple painting with just Sweetheart on a textured background but recently I felt like it needed something added to it so I started cutting and pasting and this is the result! This print is now available in my Etsy shop.

Something rather exciting also happened recently- I won an award for my blog! Joy :) Thank you to Mandy for giving me this award.

I would like to pass this award onto....................
Skipping In The Meadow

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and if you are new to my blog and fancy taking a gander at the post below you are welcome to enter my Giveaway.
Have a good weekend!
