Found Art Friday!

Hello everyone, it's Found Art Friday today and here is my mixed media painting inspired by the words "Everything Blooming". I really experimented with this piece and used paint, pencil, collage and my own drawn flowers and bunny. I just kept adding layers until I felt I should stop- really good fun! :) I'm calling this painting Tokyo Bunny.

Its A Boy!

Just had some lovely news that one of my friends has had a little baby boy. Congratulations Mummy and Daddy! :)

Hope you like the design- I can't quite believe it but I designed this 5 years ago! Doesn't time go by so quickly?

I also had another fantastic surprise recently and that was to find out that I had received another Sunshine Blog award from the lovely lady behind Dots & Spots! Thank you Becky- it made my day :)

Flowers and Thank yous

Happy Friday everyone! I was sitting having my lunch today and enjoying my Birthday flowers as the sunshine poured through the window and I thought they were too beautiful not to share with you. They remind me of warmer days :)

Celebrations!

Hello! It's a triple celebration here at my blog today :D

Firstly it's my Birthday today, (hip, hip, hooray!), so there will be lots of laziness and cake eating going on! I haven't opened any pressies as yet as I'm waiting for Pip to get home- so getting rather excited about that and I got a surprise knock at the door this morning as Pip had sent me some beautiful flowers!

My second celebration is that I finally managed to get to London to take some photos of my cards in Fenwicks and Libertys! Excuse the quality of the photos! This was such a buzz for me I can't really explain it in words- I was so excited in fact, that I forgot to ask permission to take the pictures and I was approached by a very nice lady who told me to stop. Once I explained why I was there and proved who I was she let me carry on!! lol!

And my third celebration is that I received a blog award from my good friend Anna. Such a lovely surprise!
