There is a voice that doesn't use words. Listen. First Art Journalling of 2015

I'm taking an e-course with Mindy Lacefield at the mo. & this piece is the first design I have painted on week one of her class. I haven't painted a bunny for so long I was getting withdrawal symptoms!

This was a little warm up watercolour session also on Mindy's e-course.

And I'll leave you with a quote that is inspiring me this week.

Peace Comes From Within...

"Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without"
Buddha

This is my mantra for the week.

I'm somewhat relieved to say that I'm slowly getting into a new routine which is working better with my daughter's new school hours. Still revising it, but getting there & today I've been able to get creative which has definitely nourished my soul- I needed it! Here are some sneak peeks.

I've also finished this painting. If you would like to see more of it click here
I have prints available too

Been a while. Crocodile.

Eeeek! Has it been that long since I last posted? I do hope you enjoyed my interview with Gustavo.

The reason I've neglected my blog is that I've had quite a few deadlines to meet & I meant to actually say that here at the blog & then everything snowballed on top of me. But I'm back & next time I'm swamped I shall try very hard to let you know!

Here are some snippets of what I've been up too- including a very brief camping trip (aborted due to the weather) good ol' Blighty : - (

Sleepy heads

Working on a new project

We found a whole field of poppies!!!

Great view from our campsite. Then we heard the tail end of a hurricane was going to sweep through that night, so we legged it! lol! I love the shadows the clouds are making on the field below.

I'll be back posting again next week.
Have a great weekend

Painting 4

Sooooo much fun with this one! I think I'm drawn to the colours & the overall cuteness of it. I experimented with Posca Paint Pens, gel pens, tissue paper, stamping, transfers, pastels, pencil & acrylic paint. So far my favourite supplies are my white gel pen, tissue paper as I like the fact its super thin & pastels. I hope you love this little guy as much as me!

The original is available to buy here & shipping is free to the UK.

And you can also buy prints (available in 3 sizes) here.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
