Working away....

Scribbly doggies!

Close up of an abstract painting

Why hello there! So I will be posting my next artist interview on Friday all being well. My daughter & I caught some sort of bug which lost me 4 days last week of work/creative time :(
But here are some snippets of latest projects, the top one was a little card I made for my daughters 4th Birthday :)

It's been very sunny & warm the last few weeks here in the UK, so I'm trying to soak up as much sunshine as I can before the colder weather sets in. Hope it's sunny where you are too!

Love & light
Emma

What I've been Up too

It's all been about Valentines Day recently. Here are some snippets of cards & projects I've been working on.
Personalised Valentines Day/Anniversary card which is for sale in my NOTHS shop

All I can say is 'awe!'

Surprised monkey! New painting I've been working on- I'll show you it finished this week.

 Wish these guys were real!!!

This is a little wooden hanging tag I made for my little one to hang in her bedroom. She decided he was very cute : ) I bought the wooden tags from Hobbycraft & then just started adding layers & layers- tissue, paint, collage, pastels & my white gel pen. I have quite a few of these little tags so commissions are most welcome, do send me a massage for more info.

In case you missed it do check out my interview with the lovely & very talented Micki Wilde in the post below.

Hope you'll come & visit me here on Thursday so I can show you painting number 6.

P.S If you would like some sunshine in your Inbox do sign up for my newsletter click here for free goodies, offers & to see my new artwork first. ***The next FIVE people to sign up will receive a free handmade gift*** :)

Working away in the wee hours

We've actually had some sunshine this week. Wooooohooooooo! It's made me feel like spring is nearly here & has inspired my next design (still a work in progress). It may all change, but for the time being it's making me smile.

Christmas Is Coming!

Hallo. It's been a busy couple of weeks! I've been trying to get all my Christmas cards uploaded into the shop, do my stock taking, carry on with my freelance work & e-course work & send out orders on time. Orders are already starting to pick up for Christmas which is fab news & its making me feel festive- is it to early to feel festive?

Here are two new designs now available in my shop & I'll be sharing more designs very soon. Hope you like!

This card is based on a mixed media illustration of two bunnies in love called Oscar & Laila
For more info. click here

I originally designed this card for my daughter Evie to give to her Daddy. I wanted it to look like she had hand drawn it & then I got the pencils, pens & crayons out and let Evie colour it in, she loved every minute and it made the card so special & thoughtful. I'm hoping other Mummys & Daddys will agree that its a lovely idea too :) I've also designed this card for grandparents & siblings. For more info click here

Two Flowers & Two Little Peas!

Click here for more info. or to purchase

Bonjour! I have two new cards to show you today, both now available in my shop.

Each card is individually handmade by myself, personalised just for you & printed onto a beautiful, white, textured, heavyweight (250gsm) board and then embellished with a raised add on panel & a hand painted touch of sparkle. I also hand emboss the two green peas & the two faces of the flowers making the card look & feel extra special.

I originally designed these for my hubby (on two different occasions of course ;)) & he liked them so much I thought I should offer them in my shop too.
