Here's A Bit About Me

Hello everyone! How are we? I'm so glad it's Friday- think I'll have to have an early night tonight- I'm feeling the need to watch a film in bed and just veg. out. I'm also pleased to say that I have finally got my "To-Do-List Monster" under control!! (well for now anyway) Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I discovered this week that I had been tagged by the lovely Karen of Blueberry Park! Thanks, Karen! :-) Check out Karen's lovely shop - in fact I just bought something from there myself :)

So Here are the rules:

1. Respond and rework: Answer the questions on your blog, replace one question that you dislike with a question of your invention, add one more question of your own.

2. Tag eight other people.

Here goes...............

What is your current obsession? Painting! I've just started again after a 10 year gap, so I'm a bit rusty- but I find it so therapuetic :)

Coffee or tea? Definitely Coffee - but most of the time I have to drink decaf because otherwise I go a bit hyper!

What’s for dinner? Chili Con Carne- YUM!

What would you eat for your last meal? Oh that's sooo0 hard! Right now I'd say a selection of cheeses and biscuits and then as much cake and chocolate as I could get in!

What was the last thing you bought? ring from Blueberry Park

What are you listening to right now? The Low Anthem. I saw them live this week and can't stop listening to their albums.

What is your favourite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe? My green short sleeve cardigan from Top Shop.

What is your favourite ice cream flavour? Ben & Jerry's Phish Food. (Same as Karen's)  My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

What do you think of the person(s) who tagged you? She's a lovely, talented lady

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Anywhere in the world? That's a tough question! I'd love to visit Lake Garda in Italy- I think that would be a lovely place to stroll around for an hour.

Which language do you want to learn? Definitely French- terrible really as that's my father's first language! I know pigeon French but would love to be fluent.

What is your favourite colour? Racing green

What is your dream job? I'd LOVE to be able to make a living selling my artwork- I recently left my job to start out on my own- wish me luck! :)

What is your worst habit? Spending far too long on the internet when I should be working! You could also call that procrastinating I suppose!!

If you had £100 now, what would you spend it on? Clothes! Haven't been shopping for ages :(

What book are you currently reading? Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth (for the second time)

Describe your personal style? Definitely casual and comfortable and I try to find clothes that are a little bit different/quirky.

What are you going to do after this? Have lunch whilst watching a bit of Wimbledon

What are your favourite movies? Sideways, Shawshank Redemption, Stranger Than Fiction and Slumdog Millionaire

What is your favourite fruit? Mango- especially dried Mango

What inspires you? Pretty much everything around me!

Do you collect something? I am a hoarder for crafty bits! I would also love to collect bunnies but Phil won't let me have more than two! lol

If you could change your name to anything, what would you call yourself? I like Mia or Kaila

What is your favourite smell? On a hot day, the smell of hot concrete after it's just rained.

What are you most proud of? Finally having the courage to fulfill a dream, leave my job and go it alone!

How many times do you press the snooze button before you get up? Endlessly! I am not a morning person.

Cats or dogs? Dogs.

What’s your biggest fashion mistake? Nearly everything I wore in the 80's! Cringe!

What is your guilty TV pleasure? Secret Millionaire or Dragons Den.

What did you want to be when you grew up? First of all a vet and then a photographer- photography is still one of my passions.

What is your biggest regret? I try not to have regrets (easier said than done I know) but I think everything happens for a reason and I read a great quote once which I find comforting: "A life without regrets, is like no life at all"

Thanks for reading. Hope it's been fun and look forward to reading about YOU!

Before I go I also wanted to say a big thank you to my fellow Etsians who very kindly voted for my blog in the Dorset Cereal Awards. Thanks so, so much guys- I really appreciate it and was blown away by all the support I got :D
The list below are the names of everyone who voted for me, so if you fancy doing a spot of shopping on Etsy this afternoon if you click on their names it will take you straight to their shops :)
Wow! This has got to be my longest post ever! Have a wonderful weekend everyone :) See you soon x
